Ex-Olympian David Hearn Indicted for Damaging Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool

Former Olympic canoeist David Hearn faces serious legal trouble after an incident at the Lincoln Memorial. The three-time U.S. Olympian has been indicted by a grand jury on a felony charge of destroying federal property worth $1,000 or more.

According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Hearn is accused of tearing a piece of liner from the Reflecting Pool during protests. The case is being prosecuted by U.S. Attorney for D.C. Jeanine Pirro, who insists the former athlete defiled the monument.
