Jerry O'Connell Reveals Rebecca Romijn's Upset Over John Stamos' Memoir

Jerry O'Connell, Rebecca Romijn's second husband, has revealed that his wife was deeply upset by the revelations in ex-husband John Stamos' memoir. In 2023, the 'Full House' star released 'If You Would Have Told Me,' where he made harsh comments about their marriage, calling Rebecca 'the devil' and admitting he 'hated' her.

Stamos claimed that after their 1998 wedding, tensions grew due to the influence of her 'toxic friends' and her rising fame. He wrote that she stopped looking him in the eye, took phone calls in another room, and he felt betrayed. The couple split in 2003, with divorce finalized in 2005. Representatives denied infidelity at the time, but the book hints otherwise.

Rebecca previously told Entertainment Tonight she was 'blindsided' and 'shocked' by the book, but refused to engage. However, Jerry said on the 'Let's Talk Off Camera With Kelly Ripa' podcast that she was really upset: 'My wife was very upset that John Stamos wrote a memoir with a chapter about the demise of their marriage. But if you're writing a memoir, you gotta put that in there.'

When asked if Stamos gave Rebecca a heads-up, Jerry said he didn't think so. Rebecca herself confirmed she had no warning. Despite the drama, Jerry recently mentioned a positive encounter with John at a party, suggesting they can be cordial.
