Lil Wayne Skips Maine Concert for Michael Rubin's White Party

Lil Wayne failed to show up for his own concert in Maine, only to appear the next night at an exclusive celebrity party. Fans are furious and demanding answers.

The rapper was scheduled to perform in Bangor, Maine on July 3 as part of his tour, but never took the stage. Organizers rescheduled the show to July 28 without providing a reason for the no-show.

The following evening, July 4, Lil Wayne was spotted at Michael Rubin's annual White Party in the Hamptons, mingling with A-listers like DJ Khaled, Alicia Keys, Jake Paul and Kevin Durant. Photos quickly spread online.

Fans who had traveled to the concert were outraged, accusing the rapper of disrespect. Many pointed out that he found time for a party but not for his paying audience.

This isn't the first time Lil Wayne has missed a show. Previous no-shows include concerts in Toronto (2025), California (2024) and Los Angeles (2023), raising questions about his reliability.

So far, the rapper has only issued a brief apology on Instagram without explaining why he missed the Maine show. Fans are now worried about his upcoming performance in New York on July 5, hoping history won't repeat itself.
