Michael Rubin's White Party draws A-list stars in the Hamptons
Billionaire Michael Rubin hosted his iconic annual White Party on July 1 at his $50 million oceanfront estate in the Hamptons. The event, traditionally held on Independence Day, sparked rumors of a date change due to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding rumored for the same weekend.
Rubin denied rescheduling in an interview with People, stating the date was always July 1, but admitted, “We didn’t want people to have to choose” between his party and the ceremony. Despite the competition, the guest list was packed with celebrities like Jake Paul, Mike Tyson, Alicia Keys, and Jay-Z.
Other notable attendees included Teyana Taylor, DJ Khaled, Shaboozey, Cardi B, and Nelly. The sports world was represented by NBA stars Kevin Durant, Tyrese Haliburton, Trae Young, Kyle Kuzma, and Michael Porter Jr., as well as TKO president Mark Shapiro and WWE president Nick Khan.
Entertainment featured performances by Snoop Dogg on the rooftop and Alicia Keys with a 20-minute set. Jay-Z danced along during her performance but did not join her for “Empire State of Mind,” likely saving his energy for upcoming Yankee Stadium shows.
One of the most talked-about moments was Alex Rodriguez locking lips with a mystery woman, sparking social media buzz. Overall, the party went smoothly, reaffirming Rubin’s status as a top summer party host.
Meanwhile, preparations for Swift and Kelce’s wedding are underway, with a rehearsal dinner set for Thursday and the ceremony expected to draw at least 1,000 guests. Rubin’s White Party served as the perfect warm-up for the weekend’s main event.
