The legal team of OnlyFans model Courtney Clenney has submitted new evidence that could impact her high-profile case. Defense attorneys argue that her boyfriend Christian Obumseli, whom she allegedly killed in 2022, was not the harmless victim prosecutors portray. They point to an arrest warrant for animal cruelty issued against Christian before his death.

In a filing obtained by TMZ, Clenney's lawyers note that prosecutors may try to present Christian as a peaceful person who was not the aggressor in the fatal confrontation. To counter this, the defense is asking the court to allow evidence of the Texas arrest warrant for cruelty to non-livestock animals.

According to police reports, in November 2020, officers were called to an Austin apartment complex after property managers reported a dead dog in one unit. Believing Christian had left to avoid paying back rent, officers entered and found the dog locked inside a kennel with food and feces nearby, but no water. Investigators determined the dog had likely been dead for 5–7 days.

Police later spoke to Christian, who said he thought the dog, named Halo, was sleeping when he left for 24 hours. The report noted Christian seemed "visibly upset" during the conversation. A warrant was issued for his arrest on a misdemeanor charge of animal cruelty.

Courtney Clenney has maintained she killed Christian in self-defense. Her case was featured in "TMZ Investigates: Killer OnlyFans Model: Deadly Love Story." Her trial is set to begin near the end of August.

The new evidence could significantly affect how jurors view the victim's character and the outcome of the case against Courtney Clenney.
