Private Investigator Kicked Out of D4vd Hearing, Family Attorney Warned

Things got tense at D4vd's preliminary hearing on Thursday. The singer, real name David Anthony Burke, still doesn't know if he'll stand trial for murder, but a private investigator already caused a stir in court.

Prosecutor Beth Silverman pointed out that the PI had testified before the grand jury and could be a witness if the case goes to trial. Since potential witnesses aren't allowed at preliminary hearings, the judge ordered the investigator out of the courtroom.

But that wasn't all. Silverman also called out Celeste Rivas' family attorney, Patrick Steinfeld, for talking to the PI. Steinfeld said neither he nor the investigator realized they were breaking any rules. The prosecutor warned him that if he messed up again, he'd be kicked out too.

The courtroom is full of tension, and this kind of mix-up is the last thing anyone wants in such a high-profile case.
