RHOC's Jeana Keough Battles Tongue Cancer

Jeana Keough, a former star of 'The Real Housewives of Orange County,' is facing a serious health challenge. Her daughter Kara Bosworth revealed that the 70-year-old has been diagnosed with tongue cancer. In a GoFundMe campaign, Kara explained that a few months ago, Jeana complained of a painful spot on her tongue, thinking it was from a tooth. A biopsy confirmed squamous cell carcinoma.

Jeana underwent surgery to remove the cancer, but doctors found it had spread, requiring a second surgery to remove lymph nodes. She is now in her fifth week of chemotherapy, radiation, and immunotherapy. The treatments have been grueling, leaving her exhausted and struggling to eat due to pain in her tongue and throat.

Because of her condition, Jeana cannot work, and her commission-based income has created financial strain. Kara set up a GoFundMe with a goal of $22,000, and over $12,000 has been raised so far. The family is grateful for any donations and prayers as Jeana fights this battle.
