Taylor Frankie Paul's Ex-Husband Denied Restraining Order

A judge has denied Tate Paul's request for an emergency restraining order against his ex-wife, reality TV star Taylor Frankie Paul. Taylor's camp believes the move was orchestrated by her other ex, Dakota Mortensen.

According to court documents, the judge found many of Tate's allegations regarding the safety of their two children to be based on hearsay and lacking corroborating evidence. The court ruled there was no "immediate and irreparable harm" requiring an emergency change to the custody arrangement.

In denying the motion, the judge also noted that Tate had left the children with Taylor for about a week in June while he traveled to Iceland, undermining his claims of immediate danger.

Tate had filed for a restraining order and custody, citing a 2023 incident where Taylor attacked then-boyfriend Dakota and threw a metal stool, accidentally striking her daughter. Taylor was arrested but did not serve jail time.

A source close to Taylor said they believe Tate's custody bid is a ploy by Dakota to cause maximum pain, possibly to prevent her season of "The Bachelorette" from airing.
