While the mayor worries about potential power outages, wedding organizers are unconcerned. Numerous generators are in place to keep the party running until 2 AM, as reportedly planned.

A mayoral spokesperson explained that the recommendation follows guidelines from the U.S. Department of Energy and has been implemented under previous mayors, including Adams, de Blasio, Bloomberg, and Giuliani.
