In addition, over 50 police officers, mostly rookies, will be deployed at MSG, earning $70 per hour for 9-hour shifts, adding another $63,000 to the bill. Some high-ranking NYPD officials are also expected to be present, pushing the total police salary figure beyond $160,000.
