Tragic Details of 'Logan' Actor James Handy's Final Moments Revealed
New grim details have emerged about the final moments of James Handy, the actor known for roles in 'Logan' and 'Top Gun: Maverick'. Last month, the 81-year-old was fatally stabbed, allegedly by Michael Gledhill, the son of his girlfriend Wendy Gledhill.
According to dispatch audio, Michael called 911 himself, reporting 'unknown trouble' and chillingly saying, 'I am the son of man, I just killed the man of sin.' Police found Handy with a stab wound to the chest in his front yard. He was rushed to a hospital but died from his injuries.
A medical examiner's report obtained by TMZ reveals that Handy and Michael argued on Wendy's front porch. The verbal fight escalated, with Michael overpowering Handy, dragging him aside, then going inside to grab a knife and stabbing him in the torso. Michael later surrendered to police.
He was booked on murder charges with $2 million bail. Wendy revealed Michael had been diagnosed with schizophrenia and stopped taking his medication a week before the killing. Our condolences go out to Handy's family.
