Whoopi Goldberg Makes Pregnant Anne Hathaway Cry on The View

On Monday's episode of The View, Whoopi Goldberg moved a pregnant Anne Hathaway to tears. The actress, who recently announced she's expecting her third child, appeared alongside Matt Damon and director Christopher Nolan to promote their new film The Odyssey.

But the conversation quickly turned emotional. Whoopi told Anne: 'Anne Hathaway, it's been wonderful watching you. It's been wonderful watching you grow up, and you have just blossomed into this fabulous actress. Girl, you need to know. You need to know.' Anne burst into tears and joked: 'No, don't! … I would be fine if I wasn't pregnant right now!'

Whoopi added: 'It's something you need to know and remember.' Touched, Anne replied: 'I don't know what to say. Thank you. You know how I feel about you.' The audience and hosts were moved by the sincere moment.
