Ice-T Returns for Every Episode of 'Law & Order: SVU' Season 28
Legendary rapper and actor Ice-T has confirmed he will appear in every episode of the 28th season of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. In the previous season, his character, Detective Odafin "Fin" Tutuola, had a reduced role, which raised questions among fans.
In an interview on the TMZ podcast, Ice-T explained that his role was cut in season 27 to free up budget for the return of actress Kelli Giddish, who plays Amanda Rollins. The performer said he was not upset by the decision, as he understood the producers' reasoning and had the opportunity to earn extra money on other projects.
In the new season, viewers will see Detective Tutuola in every episode. Ice-T promised that fans can follow his character alongside Mariska Hargitay and the rest of the team in their fight against crime on the streets of New York.
Law & Order: SVU has been on the air since 1999 and has become one of the longest-running shows in television history. Ice-T joined the cast in the second season in 2000 and has been an integral part of the series ever since.
In addition to his work on the show, Ice-T is actively developing his own streaming service, OG Network, and continues to appear in the public eye with his wife Coco Austin, whose social media presence often attracts media attention.
The return of Ice-T to a full-time role in the series will likely delight many fans who noticed his absence in some episodes last season. Now they can look forward to seeing the beloved character regularly in the new season.
