Jay-Z and Michael Rubin Take Over NYC with Star-Studded Week

Rapper Jay-Z and Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin have turned New York City into their personal playground with a week of exclusive, celebrity-packed events. The close friends and self-proclaimed kings of the city kicked things off with Jay-Z's concerts at Yankee Stadium.

The rapper sold out three shows at the Bronx ballpark over the weekend. Friday's concert drew a star-studded crowd including Fat Joe, LeBron James, Megan Thee Stallion, Kevin Hart, Ice Spice, Knicks' NBA Finals hero OG Anunoby, Jadakiss, and DJ Khaled. The night was also memorable for an iconic moment when Beyoncé cut Jay-Z's hair on stage.

On Saturday, Patriots owner Robert Kraft, former Rams running back Todd Gurley, and Rubin himself were spotted in the stands, ready to watch Jay-Z deliver another electrifying performance.

But the festivities are far from over. On Wednesday, the city hosts the ESPY Awards, produced by Fanatics Studios. From Thursday through Sunday, the Jacob Javits Center will be the venue for Fanatics Fest, a four-day convention bringing together the biggest names in sports and pop culture.

The festival lineup includes Shaquille O'Neal, Derek Jeter, John Cena, Travis Scott, Serena Williams, Floyd Mayweather, IShowSpeed, LeBron James, Tom Brady, and dozens more. Soccer stars are also expected, with pre-World Cup Final interviews scheduled for Friday and a watch party for the final on Sunday.

Jay-Z will host a VIP bash at his 40/40 club inside the venue, exclusively for celebrities. Regular fans can still catch a glimpse of the stars by hanging out near the pop-up entrance.
