Kyle Van Noy: Aaron Donald Has 'Plenty In The Tank'

Legendary defensive tackle Aaron Donald could return to the NFL, and his former draft classmate Kyle Van Noy believes the 35-year-old star still has plenty left at the highest level. In an interview with TMZ Sports, Van Noy said Donald, who retired in 2024, is capable of returning and forming a formidable duo with Myles Garrett, who recently joined the Los Angeles Rams.

Van Noy and Donald were both selected in the 2014 NFL Draft and are both 35 years old. Van Noy is still active, while Donald chose to hang up his helmet last year. But rumors of his comeback have intensified after the Rams acquired Garrett from the Cleveland Browns. According to Van Noy, if Donald returns, their tandem with Garrett could be 'special.'

'He's that good, he's that gifted. I really think if he came back, him and Myles Garrett, they'd be special,' said the two-time Super Bowl champion, who was spotted at LAX airport this week.

Interestingly, TMZ Sports obtained video of Donald working out at the Rams facility on Friday. Sources say he pushed himself to the limit, undergoing an intense hour-long conditioning session. This only fueled speculation that Donald is leaning toward a return to football.

Van Noy, who last played for the Baltimore Ravens, said he is grateful to have several teams to choose from, but his heart is with the New England Patriots. He appreciates the interest from other teams but seems ready to return to where he started.

Aaron Donald's return would be one of the biggest stories of the season. Pairing him with Myles Garrett would create one of the most fearsome defensive lines in the league. Rams fans are already on edge: can Donald, a three-time Defensive Player of the Year, come back and add another Super Bowl to his resume?
